If you haven't yet noticed. I love red giants :)

Started working on this a long time ago. Never got around to finishing it so I thought I'd pull it out and get it done. (Thats what she said) I'm not entirely sure whats supposed to be happening here. I just think it looks cool. About 8-9 hours in this one, its a little sketchy but I think its alright.

No photos, no textures, no fractals. I shouldn't need to keep saying this. All painted in Photoshop.

I love it :) How do you get such well defined shapes without it looking too obvious?

No advice? :( What brushes do you use? Opacity? Flow?
Reply
:icontylercreatesworlds:
I paint with a soft round brush usually around 12% opacity and 20% flow.

I use a my own cloud smudge brush at 12%, 35%, and 65% strength to blend the edges.

Hope this helps some.

Now, this is a piece where I see you did more with lights and shadows, more than your other pieces of space art. This has more depth.

Amazing work! Original too! :D

You're getting better and better, I can tell you have a great eye for depth, color and detail, your choice of color layering really does a lot for the depth, and the detail you are creating is getting better and better, great pieces man, keep it up. Love them.
