Not weaksauce. It's quite beautiful, actually. I'm in the process of creating a game which will take place on planet surfaces between 3 factions, and would like to have really great Nebulae backgrounds. But since there will be many dozens or hundreds of levels per galaxy, hand-painting is out. The programmer, practically a demigod in the art, assures me we can have tectonic terrain geography on our spherical planet levels, and I'm thinking.....perhaps we could use the same tech without displacement for generating of Nebulae...I'll have to find out. But thanks for the inspirations.
