The Monster Within by TylerCreatesWorlds The Monster Within by TylerCreatesWorlds
Got bored, did some painting, this is the result. Not one of my better ones but I feel like I'm really getting my technique down. Let me know what you think about it.

Hand painted in Photoshop, about 7 hours
No textures, photos, or fractals.

To make a beautiful composition out of space nebulae seems to be quite a challenge, so congratulations on a job well done here. The colors are excellent and really show every range of hue from orange to blue. The gradual color transition gives it a glowing, mysterious look which is perfect for a painting of space. One of the most unique things about this painting is the range in the color of the stars and the balancing effect they have. Although I've seen many paintings of outer space similar to this, yours stands out among the rest. The intricacy of the light sources and the transparency of the clouds make this an impressive and beautiful piece.

Hey if someone stole this and put on public domain on Google with no name or identifying markings on it... How would I know it was yours? Just curious. Also do you settle your disputes with people like a man or are you more of a "run and tell the teacher", kind of a guy. Just wondering. The painting is awesome. The artist?

Have a great day! :-)

There's nothing I can do about people stealing my art and uploading with my signature cropped off, other than not putting my art online. Which defeats the purpose of my art. If you'd like to know a handy trick, you can upload a picture to Google and then search for sites where that image appears. It's cool if you want to be honest and see if there's an artist behind the image you're using. In most situations where my art is used without my permission, I contact the other person and ask them to remove the image. I also file a DCMA take down request to ensure that if the other person ignores my request, the site host will remove the image.

I'm a professional artist and I've done commercial art for clients all of the world. People pay for my work so that others cant use it, I have to stop use of it where I can.

Also, you don't know a thing about me. So please be respectful if you feel the need to add your two cents. Deviant art isn't for taking stabs at other artist.

Thanks now, have a super swell weekend :D

My painting is nowhere near your calibre, my friend. I wish I could find my source on google, but it looked like a photo, was in the pub. domain, and had no signature on it. You might want to search yourself, and see if you can find it.

Absolutely amazing!

I mean, I don't see any reason why you shouldn't.

I'll starve. :XD:
But seriously, it's a piece I'll surely come back to look at again. Really beautiful and captivating. Stars often have that effect, but this doesn't only look like stars, but like a view right into a galaxy. Sweet. :)
